About Me
My background
Growing up in a mixed household has played a significant role into shaping the person I am today. Being Asian American and finding new ways to connect with my culture has allowed me to better understand my family, traditions and history to a greater extent. I am continuously learning from those who surround me and strive to do the same for those who I serve. At my institution, I am heavily involved in student affairs with a large emphasis on academic advising and community building. Outside of the classroom, I create and publish stories on my blog that are meaningful to me with intentions of educating and inspiring others around the world.
